"Active Environment" Home Theater
The idea is to experience the "surrounding environment" of scenes in a movie your watching at home. This has been done in a manner at a old Disney attraction, but this idea is a home, personal space version.
It would involve peripherals for your sitting area or an actual chair or "movie vessel".
Your experience could include matching environment climate changes of the current movie scene your viewing. Cold or warm, humid or hot air surrounding your viewing personal space. Mist (rain scenes), fog, wind, possibly smells or odors. (even a hot drooling breath on the back of your neck) Dynamic vibrations from explosions, collisions, (the chair might omit a feeling like a sudden bump or shock wave).
The medium to realize the active personal experience could be a "track" included on a movie DVD that feeds the signal to a Klipsch receiver that sends the signal to a hub of peripheral ports for attachments or an actual "live environment" chair.
